Yay! Back to one of my favorite winter locations but this time for sunrise! I hadn’t been here for an A.M. session this early before and we honestly picked the perfect day! It was actually New Years Eve and we got there at about 8am which is when the sun rises and I’m so glad we started so early because it was already getting busy! I figure due to it being a holiday weekend and it being a beautiful sunny day drew a lot of people to head out to the snow! But seriously, you couldn’t beat the beautiful color in sky that we got!
Daniel & Kaitlyn are just the best. Seriously, I mean that. They had to deal with me kind of panicking a little bit trying to leave Gold Creek Pond because it was SO busy and it was basically a one lane road! I, no joke, had to back up a half a mile about two times when we were leaving just because there was a line of cars trying to get in! That was seriously stressful but they were so helpful while I was making sure not to hit anything. And they had such a fabulous sense of humor about it and we joked that we at least would have a funny story that we’ll never forget about their engagement session! I originally got connected with them when Kaitlyn emailed me what feels like FOREVER ago about engagement photos! She is close friends with one of my 2018 brides, Gracia, and I was so excited to be able to officially meet her at that wedding! I’m even more excited that I get to fly down to California and photograph their gorgeous wedding this coming May!! Here are some favorites of mine from their beautiful session!
