I want to start off by saying that I absolutely adore all of my couples and truly love every single wedding that I am lucky enough to photograph. But Sean and Brittany’s was one of the most emotional weddings that I have ever had the pleasure of witnessing.
The day started off beautifully with so much joy and love surrounding the two of them as they prepared for the best day of their life. These two opted to not have a “first look” and waited until the altar, and seriously you guys… Sean’s reaction of his beautiful bride coming down the aisle was hands down one of the sweetest things you’ll see. And although they didn’t see eachother before the ceremony, they did do a prayer together holding hands on opposite sides of the building
Their day started off beautifully with gorgeous weather and two people who were more than ready to commit themselves to eachother. They opted to not do a first look together (and you’ll see why below.. Sean’s reaction of his bride coming down the aisle…seriously amazing) but they did decide to do a prayer together right before the ceremony by holding hands on opposite sides of the building. The entire morning, I could tell that Brittany was so excited to just be with Sean and to have a moment of prayer just the two of them (even though they were only able to hold hands) completely calmed her nerves. Their love is absolutely beautiful.
The ceremony was absolutely beautiful – with tears all around from joy and absolute emotion filling the everyone. I am having trouble putting into words all the beauty that I saw with their ceremony because it left me speechless! I might have to let the photos speak for themselves on that one… because seriously, I definitely had tears behind my camera! The rest of their wedding reception was filled with speeches all around from the most special people in their lives wishing them all the best, and then of course some fun dancing and lots of laughter!
I loved every second that I had with them! And I still chuckle thinking about how Brittany had told me before their engagement photos that she was nervous because she’s not usually one to take alot of photos (or be the center of attention, for that matter) but these two were absolute naturals in front of the camera for both their engagement session AND their wedding day. (You can view their engagement session here!) They were SO great that we were able to do all of their formal photos of the two of them in less than 20 minutes!! I’d say that’s a serious win! I’m so happy to share some of my favorites from their special day!!
I loved these sweet moments with just the two of them…
His reaction… are you kidding?!
